The Jonesport-Beals Royals softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Calais Blue Devils to 4 in the Royals non-league win on Monday.

The Royals now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Searsport for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 14. Jonesport-Beals will confront a Vikings team coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Calais moves to 1-6 on the season. The Blue devils host Washington Academy (East Machias, ME) to confront the Raiders in a Class C North battle on Wednesday, May 14. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Washington Academy won 5-3 in their recent league battle against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)
