Rhode Island High School Softball - Central bounces Mt. Pleasant

In Monday's league match, the host Central Knights softball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Mariners come into the Division 3 match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Narragansett notched a victory over Rogers (Newport, RI), 13-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Kilties confront the Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 3 match, on Tuesday, May 13. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 12-2 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI).
