The Connetquot T-Birds triumphed over the visiting Walt Whitman Wildcats softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the T-Birds meet the Lindenhurst Bulldogs (Lindenhurst, NY) in a Section 11 AA-1 challenge, on Thursday, May 15. Connetquot will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 7-1 league loss to Sachem East (Farmingville, NY).
The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY). The Marauders enter the Section 11 AA-1 challenge with a 2-7 record.
