The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) and the host Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME), observed Cony's softball team get by Gardiner by a tally of 5-2.

The Rams (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Lincoln Academy was routed by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 20-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) in a Class B South bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Gardiner will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME).
