The Sodus Spartans overwhelmed the visiting East Rochester Bombers softball squad by a count of 22-4 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY) in a Wayne County challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Sodus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Marauders go into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 12-0 league loss to North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY).

The Bombers (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyons (Lyons, NY). The Lions go into the Wayne County challenge with a 15-1 record. In their last challenge, Lyons toppled Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY), 12-0, in a league challenge.
