The Elmira Express softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Varsity Opponent to 0 in the Express league win on Monday.

The Express now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corning-Painted Post for a Section 4 Southern Tier - West battle on Wednesday, May 14. Elmira will confront a Hawks team coming off a 12-2 league win over Vestal (Vestal, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Varsity Opponent moves to 44-106 on the season. The travel to Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI) to confront the Titans in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 19-7. Lumen Christi Catholic won 5-3 in their recent non-league battle against Springport (Springport, MI)
