Maine High School Softball - Erskine Academy sneaks past Morse

The Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) softball nipped the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 8-7 in Monday's league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Academy for a Class B South challenge on Friday, May 16. Erskine Academy will play a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Shipbuilders (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets enter the Class B South challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Leavitt edged Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME), 2-1, in a league challenge.
