The Escanaba Eskymos softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Marquette Sentinels to 5 in the Eskymos league win on Monday.

The Eskymos now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladstone for a Great Northern U.P. battle on Tuesday, May 13. Escanaba will confront a Braves team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI). The Braves record now stands at 18-0.

With the loss, Marquette moves to 15-12 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Menominee (Menominee, MI) to confront the Maroons in a Great Northern U.P. battle on Wednesday, May 14. The Maroons come into the battle with a record of 3-11. Menominee lost 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Peshtigo (Peshtigo, WI)
