The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) and the host Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), observed Lena-Winslow's softball team prevail over Forreston by a tally of 10-0.

The Panthers (15-11) will now prepare for their bout against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North bout with a 15-11 record. In their last bout, Pearl City knocked off Forreston (Forreston, IL), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Forreston will attempt to advance on its 3-25 season record. The Hubs go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 10-0 league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).
