Maine High School Softball - Foxcroft Academy Mattanawcook

The Mattanawcook Lynx triumphed over the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Lynx meet the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a Class C North challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Mattanawcook will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Golden Bucks enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 27-0 non-league win over Searsport (Searsport, ME).

The Ponies (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers enter the Class C North challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Dexter was routed by Central (East Corinth, ME), 6-4, in a league challenge.
