The South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) softball routed the visiting Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), 14-4 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Lions now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley outing on Tuesday, May 13. South Lyon will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Franklin moves to 5-14 on the season. The Patriots travel to Glenn (Westland, MI) to encounter the Rockets in a Kensington Lakes - East outing on Wednesday, May 14. The Rockets come into the outing with a record of 9-16. Glenn lost 5-2 in their recent non-league outing against Novi (Novi, MI)
