The crowd at Monday's league outing between the Slinger Owls (Slinger, WI) and the host Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), witnessed Slinger's softball team defeat Homestead by a margin of 14-6.

The Owls now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitefish Bay for a North Shore outing on Tuesday, May 13. Slinger will encounter a Blue Dukes team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI). The Blue Dukes record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Homestead moves to 4-16 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Port Washington (Port Washington, WI) to encounter the Pirates in a North Shore outing on Tuesday, May 13.
