Virginia High School Softball - Lafayette topped by Poquoson

Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), 14-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Poquoson upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Islanders travel to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Lions in a Bay Rivers game on Wednesday, May 14. The Lions enter the game with a record of 13-3. Warhill won 10-1 in their recent league game against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)

The Rams now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a Bay Rivers game on Wednesday, May 14. Lafayette will play a Clippers squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 6-9.
