The Lakeland Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Mott Corsairs to 0 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mott for a Lakes Valley battle on Monday, May 12. Lakeland will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 1-18.

With the loss, Mott moves to 1-20 on the season. The Corsairs travel to Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Lakes Valley battle on Monday, May 12.
