Illinois High School Softball - Lemont bounces Oak Forest

In Monday's non-league match, the host Lemont Lemont HS softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Oak Forest Bengals.
The Lemont HS (20-7) will now prepare for their match against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors go into the South Suburban match with a 3-18 record. In their last match, Thornton Fractional North was routed by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 16-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bengals battle the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 14. Oak Forest will attempt to better on its 17-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the match with a 28-1 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
