In Monday's league test, the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA), by a tally of 13-1.

Next, the Minutemen meet the Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) in a Middlesex test, on Thursday, May 15. Lexington will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Marauders go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Westport (Westport, MA).

The Red & Black (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Rockets go into the Middlesex test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Reading Memorial prevailed over Arlington (Arlington, MA), 7-5, in a league test.
