The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Little Falls Mounties (Little Falls, NY) and the host West Canada Valley Nighthawks (Newport, NY), observed Little Falls's softball team prevail over West Canada Valley by a tally of 22-5.

The Mounties (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, NY). The Comets go into the Section 3 Center State I bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Clinton was routed by Avoca Central (Avoca, NY), 24-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the Sauquoit Valley Indians (Sauquoit, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III bout, on Wednesday, May 14. West Canada Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 10-6 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NY).
