In Monday's league test, the Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), by a tally of 12-2.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a Big Northern test, on Tuesday, May 13. Stillman Valley will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Cogs go into the test with a 10-18 record after their 11-9 league loss to Winnebago (Winnebago, IL).
The Crusaders (0-18) will now prepare for their test against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the Big Northern test with a 18-10 record. In their last test, Oregon was routed by Byron (Byron, IL), 12-2, in a league test.
