In Monday's non-league match, the host Red Lake Falls Eagles softball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds.
The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Blackduck (Blackduck, MN). The Drakes come into the Freelance match with a 16-1 record. In their last match, Blackduck notched a victory over Laporte (Laporte, MN), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders (Lake Park, MN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 14. Mahnomen/Waubun will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN).
