The Oceanside Mariners softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Nokomis Warriors to 1 in the Mariners league win on Monday.

The Mariners now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nokomis for a Class B North battle on Monday, May 12. Oceanside will confront a Warriors team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Nokomis moves to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors host Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to confront the Mariners in a Class B North battle on Monday, May 12. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 0-6. Oceanside lost 11-2 in their recent non-league battle against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME)
