The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the North Polars (North St. Paul, MN) and the host South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN), observed North's softball team get by South St. Paul by a tally of 8-4.
The Polars (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Hill-Murray held off Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 6-5, in a non-league test.
The Packers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors go into the Classic Suburban test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Two Rivers was routed by North (North St. Paul, MN), 8-7, in a non-league test.
