In Monday's non-league test, the Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the host Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI), by a tally of 6-1.
Next, the Knights clash with the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Tuesday, May 13. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to advance on its 18-4 season record. The Mavericks go into the test with a 6-8 record after their 11-2 league win over Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI).
The Mustangs (23-7) will now prepare for their test against Novi (Novi, MI). The Wildcats go into the Kensington Lakes - West test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Novi held off Glenn (Westland, MI), 5-2, in a non-league test.
