Connecticut High School Softball - Notre Dame Prep tipped by Norwalk

Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT), 3-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Norwalk improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Bears host Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a Fairfield County game on Tuesday, May 13. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-4. Trumbull won 17-0 in their recent league game against Stamford (Stamford, CT)

The Lancers now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest - Colonial game on Monday, May 12. Notre Dame Prep will play a Nighthawks squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-4.
