The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) and the visiting Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), observed Pilgrim's softball team get by Smithfield by a final score of 3-0.

The Patriots (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the Division 1 bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, East Providence was routed by East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 4-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Sentinels battle the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a Division 1 bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Smithfield will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Oakers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 11-1 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
