New Jersey High School Softball - Rumson-Fair Haven drops to St. Rose

St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ), 13-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, St. Rose improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Purple Roses host Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 14. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 11-8.

The Bulldogs now hold a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shore Regional for a Shore - A Central game on Wednesday, May 14. Rumson-Fair Haven will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-7.
