The Sandy Creek Comets overwhelmed the visiting Watertown Cyclones softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier B challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Sandy Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 5-3 league win over Carthage (Carthage, NY).

The Cyclones (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Jefferson (Adams, NY). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, South Jefferson toppled Indian River (Philadelphia, NY), 17-1, in a non-league challenge.
