Illinois High School Softball - South Elgin bounces West Aurora

May 12, 2025: South Elgin, IL 60177

The South Elgin Storm softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks to 2 in the Storm league win on Monday.

The Storm now possess a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Larkin for a Upstate Eight battle on Tuesday, May 13. South Elgin will confront a Royals team coming off a 16-1 league win over Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Royals record now stands at 12-14.

With the loss, West Aurora moves to 14-14 on the season. The Blackhawks host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to confront the Maroons in a Upstate Eight battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Maroons come into the battle with a record of 4-18. Elgin lost 11-1 in their recent league battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
