The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers triumphed over the host Westborough Rangers softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers play the Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA) in a Mid-Wach challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Wachusett Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record.

The Rangers (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA). The Colonials enter the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Shrewsbury overcame Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA), 9-5, in a league challenge.
