Ohio High School Baseball - Perkins defeats Columbian

May 12, 2026: Sandusky, OH 44870

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) and the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), saw Perkins's baseball team gain a win over Columbian by a tally of 8-2.

The Pirates (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against University School (Hunting Valley, OH). The Preppers enter the non-league battle with a 17-4 record. In their last battle, University School held off Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tornadoes face the Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake battle, on Wednesday, May 13. Columbian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Truckers enter the battle with a 14-7 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, OH).
