The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) and the visiting Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), observed Santa Fe Trail's softball team notch a victory over Iola by a final score of 15-0.

The Chargers (23-3) will now prepare for their bout against Iola (Iola, KS). The Mustangs go into the Pioneer bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Iola was routed by Wellsville (Wellsville, KS), 7-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, May 12. Iola will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 21-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Anderson County (Garnett, KS).
