The Ragland Purple Devils softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder to 5 in the Purple Devils league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Ragland improves its record to 21-19 on the year. The Purple Devils host Woodland (Woodland, AL) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, May 13. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 22-11. Woodland lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL)
