The Avon Old Farms Beavers got by the host Kent School Lions baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Friday's league bout.
The Beavers now possess a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hotchkiss School for a bout on Saturday, May 14. Avon Old Farms will face a Bearcats team coming off a 9-7 league win over Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-10.
Next, the Lions face the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a Founders bout, on Saturday, May 14. Kent School will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Pelicans enter the bout with a 13-2 record after their 12-3 league win over Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT).
