The Canal Winchester Indians baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Hayes Pacers to 4 in the Indians league victory on Friday.
The Indians (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Teays Valley (Ashville, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Teays Valley nipped Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH), 15-1, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Hayes falls to 7-13 on the season. The Pacers host Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH) to battle the Scots in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Scots come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Walnut Ridge lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, OH)
