In Friday's league game, the host Simon Kenton Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Grant County Braves.
The Pioneers (18-11) will now prepare for their game against Ryle (Union, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 19-15 record.
The Braves (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 19-9 record. In their last game, Fleming County tipped Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 5-3, in a non-league game.
