The West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) baseball trounced the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), 8-2 in Friday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) in a Patriot contest, on Tuesday, May 17. West Springfield will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 11-9 record after their 6-5 league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA).
The Stallions now sport a 5-10 record.
