The Plainfield East Bengals topped the host Hinsdale South Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bengals now have a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richards for a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. Plainfield East will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-11.
The Hornets (16-10) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 11-16 record. In their last test, Wheaton-Warrenville South was knocked off by Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
