Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ), 13-11 in a non-league battle.
The Hillbillies now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caldwell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 17.
In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 13. New Providence will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record.
