In Friday's league test, the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Essex Hornets.
The Redhawks now have a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Burlington for a Division I test on Tuesday, May 17. Champlain Valley Union will face a Seahorses squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Seahorses record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) in a Division I test, on Thursday, May 19. Essex will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
