Walpole Rebels (Walpole, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Abington Green Wave (Abington, MA), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Newton North for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16.

With the loss, Abington falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 14. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 5-9. Oliver Ames won 21-2 in their recent non-league game against Sharon (Sharon, MA)
