In Friday's non-league contest, the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) softball team the visiting Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), by a margin of 12-10.

With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 25-7 on the year. The Hawks travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to play the Cavemen in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 14. The Cavemen come into the contest with a record of 29-1. Carlsbad won 9-7 in their recent non-league contest against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
