In Friday's league outing, the visiting Barrington Fillies/Broncos softball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Fremd Vikings.
Coming up next, the Fillies/Broncos battle the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) in a Mid-Suburban West outing, on Monday, May 16. Barrington will attempt to upgrade on its 24-4 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 12-12 record after their 15-12 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
The Vikings (20-7) will now prepare for their outing against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons enter the Mid-Suburban West outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Schaumburg ran past Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
