The Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) softball routed the visiting Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI), 8-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Huskies (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs go into the Mid-State bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Montabella was routed by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 21-8, in a league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Breckenridge for a Mid-State bout on Friday, May 13. Montabella will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
