Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 10-24 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Colbert County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-21.
With the loss, Red Bay moves to 16-11 on the season.
