The Middleborough Sachems softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Durfee Hilltoppers to 3 in the Sachems non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Middleborough moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Sachems travel to Abington (Abington, MA) to clash with the Green Wave in a South Shore - Pilgrim game on Tuesday, May 17. The Green Wave come into the game with a record of 12-2. Abington won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA)

In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) in a Big Three - Pilgrim game, on Monday, May 16. Durfee will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Whalers come into the game with a 9-5 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA).
