Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting York Cougars (York, SC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Green Wave now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. Easley will battle a Copperheads squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 24-4.
With the loss, York falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 14-5. Greenwood lost 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC)
