Maine High School Softball - Southern Aroostook bounces East Grand

Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), 18-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ashland for a Class D North challenge on Monday, May 16. Southern Aroostook will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 35-16 league win over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, East Grand falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Madawaska (Madawaska, ME) to battle the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
