Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK), 13-7 in a league challenge.

The Moose now own a 13-12 record. They take the field next when they host Soldotna for a Northern Lights challenge on Friday, May 13. Palmer will battle a Stars squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Homer (Homer, AK). The Stars record now stands at 5-6.
