The Tawas Area Braves baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Au Gres-Sims Wolverines to 7 in the Braves non-league victory on Saturday.

The Braves (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets go into the Mid-State match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Coleman was overwhelmed by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 16-1, in a league match.

The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI). The Cardinals go into the North Star match with a 1-3 record.
