In Saturday's league game, the host Del Norte Tigers baseball team scored a nice 19-1 victory over the Sargent Farmers.
The Tigers (15-4) will now prepare for their game against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 18-4 record. In their last game, Montezuma-Cortez overcame Bayfield (Bayfield, CO), 4-2, in a league game.
The Farmers (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Sanford (Sanford, CO). The Mustangs go into the 2A/1A Southern Peaks game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Sanford overcame John Mall (Walsenburg, CO), 13-11, in a non-league game.
