Era Hornets (Era, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Seymour Panthers (Seymour, TX), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Era upgrades its record to 20-9 on the season. The Hornets travel to Collinsville (Collinsville, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, May 20. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 26-5. Collinsville won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Muenster (Muenster, TX)
With the defeat, Seymour falls to 17-16 on the season.
